New Computer or not?

The laptop I got at the beginning of freshman year is getting old. I need to at the very least wipe the Hard Drive and get a fresh install of everything on there. I only have about 3 of the original 60GB left, and I'm beginning to have some virus problems from stuff I've picked up here and there resulting in my computer (or more specifically, my X500) being kicked off the University's wireless network.

So, 3 options:
1) Wipe the 60GB HDD, reinstall everything. Result: good enough for now. Cost: minimal-to-none. Fun: not much.
2) Invest a little money in my laptop. Buy a 250GB HDD (and maybe some extra RAM while I'm at it), reinstall everything on that, move the 60GB to my little laptop (which currently has 20GB. Result: fresh install, plus an extra 190(+40)GB. Cost: $90. Fun: kind of, but not really
3) Buy a new computer. Build a desktop machine from the ground up. Result: Brand new machine that will do what I want it to for the next 5 or 6 years. Cost: $800-$900. Fun: tons.

New Toy!

I ordered myself a new camera last week; it came in the mail yesterday!

After playing around with some of my friends' cameras, it became apparent that I really liked photography and I should probably get a camera of my own since I'm doing so much interesting stuff in the next year or so. It's a Canon Powerhot S5 IS, which is just about as nice as they come without going up in to the $600+ range (waaay more than I would spend on just about anything).

Hopefully I can make my life well-documented; I post my photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/mnskyscraper.

More New Toys

My Mp3 player finally came. It took until 7PM to get there (stupid UPS), but it came. I like it a lot.

I am also the proud new owner of a Toshiba Portege 3490-CT laptop. It only has a 12" screen and weighs about 3lbs. I will be taking it to class a lot. In fact, I'm writing this from it.

Seeing how I have 2 computers, it's time to start naming them. I have one big laptop that is silver and higher performance and one small laptop that is black/dark grey and runs slower.

This is where you, the reader, comes in. I want suggestions on what to name my computers. Bonus points for:
-References to things that are cool (i.e. Star Wars, Hitchhiker's Guide)
-Names that are related (see: Executor and Devastator/Lusankya)
-Names that describe the computer in some way (see: Shortbus, it's small and goes slower)

Some examples:

Two names that are related and reference something cool:
Big: Executor
Small: Devastator or Lusankya

Name that describes the computer:
Small: Shortbus
Big: (I have no idea)

OH MY GOD I Want One

BEST. LEGO. SET. EVER. I seriously just about pissed my pants when I saw it.

Speaking of spending lots of money, I ordered myself an mp3 player over the weekend, a Creative Zen Vision:M. It will be here in about 3 days, and I shall be happy.

Also over the weekend: Skate With The Gophers! Even though I spent 2 hours handing out posters, I got:
-- my MB hat autographed by the one and only Don Lucia
-- team poster signed by every player but Okposo and Flynn, plus Lucia and the Wooger. I'm totally framing this one.
-- Picture taken with the McNaughton Cup and the 2002 and 2003 Championship Trophies
-- Also got to skate around on the ice at Mariucci for a bit with Okposo and Goligoski (and 100 other people, mostly kids), which was pretty sweet.
